What is R11 refrigerant?

Refrigerant R-11 is another refrigerant used commonly in the refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The chemical name of R11 is trichloromonofluoromethane (it is methane series compound) and its chemical formula is CCl3F. The molecular weight of R11 refrigerant is 137.4 and its boiling point is 74.7 degree F.

What is R11 insulation used for?

As it is rather thin, R11 is almost solely used for interior walls. Compared to exterior walls, which separate indoors from outdoors, walls inside the house, whose role is to divide rooms, don’t need as much insulation. The temperatures in different rooms are almost the same and there’s only a minor heat loss.

Does assembler use R10 and R11?

Within assembler source code, this pointer must be referred to as g; the name R10 is not recognized. Hand-written assembly can use R11, but doing so requires being sure that the linker is not also using it to implement any of the other instructions in the function. The ASM I am looking to port uses R10 and R11 so my question is the following:

How to check if a linker uses R11?

R11 is used by the linker to synthesise some instructions, e.g. references to global variables. Best check if R11 is used by assembling and then disassembling the code. In the disassembly, any reference to R11 introduced by the linker should be visible.
