Why God became man?

To better prepare our hearts for this greatest of all miracles in which God becomes man, let us ponder why God became man. God, of course, was entirely free; He did not have to become man in order to save mankind. He could have forgiven and restored us to sanctifying grace in some other way.

What is the real man?

“The real man is one who always finds excuses for others, but never excuses himself.” – Henry Ward Beecher. “Part of being a man is learning to take responsibility for your successes and for your failures. You can’t go blaming others or being jealous. Seeing somebody else’s success as your failure is a cancerous way to live.” – Kevin Bacon.

What does the Bible say about being a man?

The Bible is clear that we were created by God in order to bring Him glory. The ultimate purpose of man (humanity), therefore, is to glorify God ( Isaiah 43:7 ). We are to know Him and make Him known by glorifying Him with our lives. Though this may sound like a simple explanation, walking out this charge is a bit more involved.

What is a typical man?

Average man’s height: 176 cm / 5’8 feet tall; Average man’s weight: 89.3 kg / 197 pounds heavy; Average man’s waist size circumference: 98 cm / 38.5″ waist; That would put the “average” guy in the USA with a BMI at 30—not just overweight, but at the entry-level of obese (class 1).
